Mission: Tucson has had more than its share of great music over the years. This site is a collection of information relating to the works of some Tucson artists, the venues in which they played and the studios that made their recordings. Scope: Content is limited to those artists with whom the webmaster is acquainted through their recordings from the early 1960's through the early 1980's. Most of them performed Country Swing but some fall into the Pop/Rock genre. Others suggest it is Honky-Tonk music, which may be accurate. Some of these artists continue to work but their current work is beyond the scope of this site. We have excluded most artists that performed Bluegrass, Folk, Punk/Grunge Rock and Reggae- it's our site and we feature what we like best!
