Tucson Music

Tucson, Arizona has a history of producing outstanding music. This site is a collection of information about some our favorite artists and their works. It's not intended to be a comprehensive history of Tucson Music. If you are, or have been, an important part of the local scene, please don't be offended if you are not included here- we may have never heard your work.

Most of the music included here was created during the 1960's and 1970's and might be considered Country Swing but some Bluegrass is included as well. We have purposely excluded Classical, Folk, Mexican, Rap and other forms of music, to which Tucson artists have contributed. It's a personal gallery of things we like best. Although we encourage others to contribute information and media, we will maintain control of the site's content.

This is a non-commercial site but we provide links to other places that offer merchandise related to the topic- like our own online store where we sell vintage vinyl recordings.
